Not for the faint of heart. Very challenging material and high expectations. HOWEVER, she is very passionate towards her studies and work and will help any and everyone who puts forth the necessary effort in this class. Enlightening on the topic. One of the great prof.s I've ever had. |

very difficult prof.. Makes exams and homework impossible to get an A on. She starts class on the first day by guarenteeing that 25% of the class will fail. If i had to do it all over again i would do everything i could to avoid her. |

Great prof. but tough. Class is the closest thing to grad school I took at XU. Take class as junior or senior, not as sophomore. Took it my last semester at XU. Really liked her. Very intelligent and class is super fascinating. A lot of work though. HW takes A LONG time, SO START EARLY. Go to her office if you can, it's a great hangout spot, no joke. |

dislikeD THIS TEACHER. Do not take her for micro. The other biology students may like her, but I don't know anyone in micro this year who liked her. VERY judgmental and tries to throw her views at you. Case studies are ridiculous and notes conflict between courses. AVOID. Doesn't help with anything and is very rude. |

This is absolutely the worst prof. i have had in my life. she is very critical and demeaning to students. she tells you she is willing to help, but when going to see her after three times she still couldnt remember my name (very impersonal!). recommend not taking this prof. if u do not want to have a chance of retaking the course. |

Dr. Robbins is very caring and will do anything to help her students with ANYTHING, even not course-related. She puts a lot of work into her lecture and really makes students think about the material rather than just memorize it. She's not "simple", but no biology teacher is. Definitely worth your time if you get the choice. |

She is amazing! liked her lab. Really clarified things I didn't understand in lecture. Excellent teacher. Yes a little difficult, but I think that is part of what makes her a great teacher. Take her for 161 if you can. Looking forward to her courses! |
