Exams are not difficult IF you read the projects (usually short stories) and pay attention in class. You'll have to identify 10 quotes in the exams, but he'll give you huge hints in class regarding them as well as the 2 essay questions. Participate often and get to know him; he gives great advice whether it is on the class or something else.
This class is cake. Raise your hand, read the stories, put in some effort on your papers, go to the reviews, and you'll get an A. If he doesn't know your name within the first two weeks, have fun with a C.
Prues means well and can turn anyone into a great writer but for an english class that is just required he was a little overboard with grading the 2 papers. In order to get even a dec. grade you must turn drafts into him before had. lot of small readings nothing to difficult exams you must know many details. hillarious man but you must work for his class.
Prues is a great teacher, and would definately reccomend. Assigns mostly short stories, and reading tests are frequent and are given almost daily. He is often late to class and gets distracted easily, so my 50 minute courses usually lasted about 35 minutes. Offers study sessions before every exam for help. Grades papers difficult, but would take again
Mr. P is a really great teacher, he assigns short stories for the most part. as long as you do the readings and go to class you will be fine. He is really hillarious and keeps the class light and fun. the only problem is that his class is laid back when the exam comes you are shocked at how difficult it is. he grades his papers difficult, just see him beforehand. |
