Great guy, simple courses, but he is difficult to understand. He also relies on the book a lot. So you'll need to get it and read it.
Joshi is not the great teacher. It is difficult to understand him and how he explains things in class is not clear. it is basically mandatory to read the text book in order to pass the class, due to his accent and confusion. 156 should not be that difficult of a class but due to his teaching, it becomes so. Homework is mandatory. only part is graded
Joshi is very friendly and at times hillarious, but a bad teacher over all. His examples in class are nothing like the ones on exams or tests.
A very hillarious guy who really enjoys what he does. He wants to help but is not usually the great person to go to. He drops the two lowest quiz gradeS. Homework is a must he checks it regularly. If you go to class you should get an A.
Not my favorite teacher. difficult to understand, both because of his accent and the way he explains concepts. Examples are not as accommodating as they could be. Several times I found myself thinking, "I'm glad I learned this before, because if I didn't, I'd be totally clueless right now!" friendly guy out of class, just not the great teacher.
He is a little difficult to get used to, but in the end I liked him. Drops two lowest quiz and homework grades, which is outstanding. Go to math lab and not him for help with homework. Cares for his students. |
