Biggest complaint: didn't always announce online homework. SPAN 202 is meant to be a sort of 'review' class of previous spanish levels, but she did. not. teach. anything. When it came to concepts, she would read straight from the book, and when students had questions, several times, she had no answer for it.
I have never had a worse teacher. I liked Spanish before taking this class and she ruined my love for the language. She is dull, monotone, and annoying. dislike to say it but if she is the last teacher left, take a different class. terrible teacher!!
She is a friendly prof., however the workload she expects in a short period of time is far over the top, and very traumatizing for someone who's never taking a summer class. I wouldn't reccomend her for a summer class. IT doesn't help she missed a couple of courses hereself!
Her class is pretty simple, all we do in class is watch videos and do oral practice. Shes a friendly lady and exams arent too difficult. If attendance wasnt mandatory you could just learn everything from the book.
prof. Huseman is a friendly lady, but not very clear in what she wants. The class follows the book closely. Depends on how interested you are in the subject. Overall, really not a very difficult class. Don't be intimidated, and, though she is a very friendly woman, try not to expect much extra help from Huseman.
This class was taught as a summer course for weekend degree students. Most of us are business majors and are only taking the course to fullfill the requirements. This class was over the top in homework projects, exams, and the final. Do not take this prof. if you can avoid it.
Very Sweet. Do all the homework because the homework does help your grade in the class and as long as you do it, even if incorrect full credit is given for trying. Most of the material is in the book so just follow along. As with all teachers a few absences are ok, just don't start skipping every Friday, because she'll notice.
Prof. Huseman is great at what she teaches, but is not the most accommodating. The course is streamlined, and is not very difficult, so a great prof really isn't necessary. I would take her again, but with a little bit of hesitation.
She wasn't my favorite teacher but not bad. very simple class i thought. she seemed to look down upon students when they asked questions in class. ALWAYS calls on random people in class, so prepare to look stupid if you don't know the answers. normal XU language class - 6 tests, mid year exam final, compositions, things like that. simple grader |
