fascinating class with relevant topics.
Great class - for an accelerated summer class, he kept the pace manageable. Lots of hands on work in the second half of the class, which I preferred to the theory/concepts focus in the first half. Three exams account for 90% of grade, and he's a very generous grader. Highly recommend!
Excellent prof.. Very knowledgeable in data mining. Explains concepts clearly. Exams and projects are very reasonable. Obviously interested in students' success.
Greg is outstanding. He is laid back and very fascinating. He will keep your attention and you will learn something. He starts out flying through material, but when it gets difficulter he slows down. My only complaint was that we did not have enough time to do the really fascinating material at the end with linear regression.
simple class since it's all in excel. Exams were impartial. prof. was great, but sitting in class for 2.5 hours learning about stats was tough. All in all, I'd definitely suggest taking this prof. for this class. |
