Great teacher! Really cares that you learn the information. WIll do anything she can to help. Wish I could take her for other courses as well.
History is fascinating, but you wouldn't know it listening to this prof.. She stands in front of the class and recites facts and events from a paper in front of her. You write as fast as you can. She asks questions but doesn't really seem to care what your answer is. Would not recommend. Lots of better history profs at Xavier.
She's a great teacher. The QFT's get annoying, but its' a great grade booster. She gives extra credit for 100% attendance.
Prof. Collopy is a pretty great teacher. Very friendly and accommodating, but class courses are long and dull. Likes it when you participate. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you don't go, don't expect to get a great grade. Also, must type a 300 word paper once a week, which is simple, but gets tedious. Not a bad class, and for history, can't complain.
Take her! She is so friendly. Her courses can be a bit long, but they are very informative and she is so friendly. The homework projects are not difficult, and she gives you plenty of time to complete projects.
If you know anything about history you should get a b no problem. one page paper a week its simple, 2 0r 3 exams a semester simple, one, 5 page paper class can get dull but if you take notes you will be fine. great teacher, take her class its not alot of work at all, she teaches American History |
