XU Police help stop 2 robberies

On July 5, 2011

who dispatched a canine unit and apprehended the female under the porch of 3632 Idlewild Avenue. The suspect sustained a dog bite wound while being apprehended.

Xavier Police chief Michael Couch said he was pleased with his department's ability to respond to both reports.

"The agreement is another tool for us, along with Cincinnati and Norwood Police, to respond to incidents like this and keep both Xavier students and the surrounding community safer," Couch said. "So it is good to see that it is already working."
