There are a lot of great things happening on campus during the Week of Welcome (WOW), and you should take full advantage of all the great opportunities for free fun and food. Here are a few of the events to look for:
Wednesday, Aug. 22
Civility & Respect Campaign
Noon to 2 p.m., South Xavier Yard (ICOR*: GSC Atrium)
Students can write their definitions of respect on a large board and will receive a t-shirt.

Taste of Cincinnati Featuring South Jordan Concert
7:15 to 8:30 p.m., North Xavier Yard (ICOR: GSC Theater)
South Jordan, a pop/rock band from Bloomington, Indiana, will be performing while some local Cincinnati food will be served including LaRosa's Pizza, Skyline Chili and Graeter's ice cream.

9 to 10:30 p.m., North Xavier Yard (ICOR: Kelley Auditorium & Lobby)
Eat delicious food, listen to live music and learn about how to grow small plants in your residence hall windows. Start your green potential at Xavier.

Jump into media, where in our world, you'll film, record, broadcast, edit and more. Be on the news, film music videos and your own stories. Work behind the scenes and be your own storyteller!

An outdoor carnival featuring free activities, free entertainment & free food! Don't miss the first Muskies After Dark event this year! There will be carnival
games, inflatable activities, prizes, food and an outdoor screening of The Avengers on a big inflated screen!

Ready to check out Downtown Cincinnati?
The Office of Student Involvement will be busing 350 Xavier students to Downtown's famous Fountain Square to check out live performances and to explore the downtown
district of restaurants, art galleries, museums and historic spaces. **We're also giving participants a $5 Graeter's gift card to buy yourself Cincinnati's own ice cream - the best in the world, of course!

Art After Dark - "Modern Spirits"
What: Time to enjoy the current exhibition "Modern Spirit" after normal closing hours, and includes cocktails and entertainment (performers
ranging fro jazz musicians to salsa dancers)
