Description: Towne Properties, a leader in the property management and development industry, is seeking an Entry Level Staff Accountant (Junior Staff Accountant) to join the home office team at The Monastery in Mt. Adams, Ohio. Some of the benefits that make Towne Properties a Great Place to Work: Competitive pay (up to $50,000 per year) Paid training, 401(k) with match, paid holidays, vacation days, sick and personal time Medical/Dental/Vision options and Flexible Spending Accounts Scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm This challenging opportunity includes: Performing basic to complex accounting functions as well as administrative support Scanning and organizing PDF format copies of all tax returns and other documents Creating spreadsheets for basic tax and accounting reports Inputting journal entries Providing research for unclaimed funds reporting Requirements: You offer the following minimum requirements: Associates Degree in accounting with one or more years of related accounting experience or a minimum of three years' related accounting experience Strong PC skills plus high skill levels with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to create formulas and spreadsheets in Excel.
