Job DesciptionPOSITION SUMMARY OBJECTIVES:The primary focus of the Sales Marketing Intern is to take part in different activities and initiatives within the RSCI Sales department to gain valuable experience and contribute towards improvement and growth of our Sales and Marketing efforts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to): Make basic sales and business development customer calls with existing sales team members. Make prospecting calls to target accounts. CRM Contact Cleanup Make sure the proper contacts are tagged under each account. LinkedIn/Social Media create and post content coinciding with our email blast content to insure consistent messaging Attack Account Profiling identify key decision makers (via LinkedIn or cold calling) and build a general profile of what the business does and how they operate to share with account managers. Track and build reports for web analytics - Identifying trends and improvements to drive more traffic to our website. Sales Support (getting updated macro for Terms and Conditions on truck quotes) Service Reporting identify and classify service information into key categories for RSCI major accounts. Graphing the information, putting it into PowerPoint and going over any anomalies with the account manager. Create forklift spec sheets for sales reps to fill out when quoting. RSCI Pictures visit customer sites to take application photos of service technicians, install projects, and any other products and services that RSCI sells to build our internal images for marketing purposes. Add SIC Codes/Industry information to Accounts in CRM. Attend all local sales meetings (including branch calls, training, etc.) Participate in and seek learning opportunities in other departments throughout the organization. Perform other duties as assigned. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. In addition to the office based environment, the employee may be exposed to a varying field environment, including: outside weather conditions, noise, dust, heat, cold, oils, hazardous materials, gasoline, and propane. The noise level in these environments also varies, but is usually in the moderate to highly noisy range.
