The Assistant Marketing Associate position is a valued team member in the marketing and sales department. The position is considered entry-level to start during training which includes a comprehensive overview of basic marketing, sales, promotions, and team development. After successful completion of the program, an individual would have the opportunity to grow into a management role within our organization.

Assistant Marketing Associate Job Duties:

Services accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on potential customers.

Uses systematic content of sales presentations to each customer.

Focuses on sales and marketing efforts by studying existing and potential volume of experienced consultants.

Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.

Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly territory analyses.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

1-6 years of relevant experience in a leadership role, sales, marketing, and/or customer service (restaurant, retail, and/or hospitality)

Internship experience in sales, marketing, and account management.

Interest in developing customer partnerships.

Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize sales activity.
