Mr. Rooter Plumbing is growing again! We are a family owned, plumbing service provider with an entry-level openings for a full-time and a part-time Customer Service/Dispatch Representative. This position plays a vital role in upholding our Code of Service Values: Respect, Integrity and Customer Focus. That's why we say we are a service provider first and foremost. Serving our communities is what we do. Plumbing, drain cleaning and sewer repairs are how we do it. Because plumbing problems can happen to our customers at any time, we are a 365, 24/7 service company. And for these roles, we are looking for individuals with the ability to help us during 2nd shift hours from 2:30 - 11pm, with greater availability required on the weekends. For those interested in the part-time role, the schedule will be approximately 15-20 hours per week. Although the schedules for these positions are 2nd shift, the on-boarding and training will take place at the during regular daytime business hours. So, the you would need the availability to train during those times before transitioning to the 2nd shift schedule. Training for both roles will be a full-time schedule lasting approximately 4-6 weeks. The Customer Service responsibilities of this position include: taking incoming customer calls, answering questions, scheduling service appointments and outbound calls confirming customer availability, providing updates on technician ETA's and follow up calls after the job is complete. The Dispatching responsibilities include: communication with our service technicians. You will be assigning them to customer calls and confirming arrival times to insure you provide the most accurate information to our customers. Other general office duties may be required as needed.Specific Responsibilities:Receive incoming calls in professional and courteous mannerPrioritize and coordinate the scheduling of servicesCoordinate delays in schedule with customers and service techniciansUse customer development techniques to solicit work through phone, email, mail and personal customer contacts Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positionsJob Requirements: Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills (30 words p/minute)Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office programs or their Google Doc equivalentService Titan software experience a major plusExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced pensation & Benefits:As entry level roles, the training wage is the same for both part-time and full-time at $10.00 per hour. Upon completion of training, wages increase to $12.00 per hour (part-time) and $13.00 per hour (full-time). In addition to the hourly wages, employees in these roles also have the opportunity to earn additional income based various performance objectives.
