The General Manager directs and oversees all functions of the park, including: implementing policies and procedures; maintaining a safe and functional operating environment; monitoring daily operations; managing fund expenditures, marketing strategies, supplies, and vendor requirements; maintaining the park; and retaining overall responsibility for the park and staff. Qualifications:? Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree? Prior facility management? First Aid/CPR Certified? Ability to work nights/weekends? Minimum of 5 years of personnel management? Minimum of 5 years of business budget experience? Risk management experience Responsibilities:? Communication link between the Franchise Owner and District Manager and the team? Open and close the park, Manager on Duty shifts? Provide and maintain excellent guest service in the park; set the example for the staff? Handle escalated guest service issues? Oversee team member hiring, training, HR documentation, firing and evaluations? Ensure all up to date training materials are being used-new hire forms, manuals, training checklists, tests and policy changes? Implement, maintain and oversee Sky Zone policies and procedures in all aspects of the park? Roll out, implement and enforce new policies in the park, including training all other Managers on them? Process payroll bi-monthly for all part time staff? Training and regular performance evaluations for Managers (after 90 days, then once/year)? Schedule and conduct quarterly manager meetings to review issues and get feedback? Regular maintenance of the Sky Zone Springdale website? Regularly update all park signage and flyers? Update website/POS systems with current events and promotions, including programming keys for the register-setting up and turning off of coupons, discounts, adding inventory items, setting hours of operation for online tickets, etc.? Coordinate monthly marketing email blasts thru ReferNow? Balance the safe funds weekly; use the safe count form to keep track of the totals? Document use of the Sky Zone Debit/Credit Card? Submit deposit reports, payroll reports, and any other applicable reports weekly? Submit GM recap report on a monthly basis? Organize, oversee and communicate staff contests and incentives? Ensure inventory levels are being ordered/maintained for all areas by the assigned Manager? Oversee court maintenance and repairs and ensure the twice weekly court inspections are documented? Review closing reports to ensure coupons and refund receipts are included with each closing report? Enforce waiver policy and ensure staff is doing the same? Provide staff with a welcoming and mutually supportive work environment? Handle guest service issues with discretion and professionalism? Ensure performance reviews for staff are being conducted in a timely manner? Ensure all staff know all products, procedures, and services to date? Advocate guest safety and satisfaction? Work closely with PR firm or Marketing Representative? Develop and coordinate and track all sales and marketing strategies? Assist Events Office in bringing in outside corporate events and driving group sales? Maintain relationship with key influencers (schools, hospitals, corporations, etc.)? Document all witnessed accidents/incidents properly and timely and ensure staff is doing the same? Oversee annual inventory? Assist Events office with event bookings, as needed? Other management duties as assigned
