There are changes being made to Xavier’s academic buildings allowing students to enter after classroom hours.
All Cards are each Xavier student’s access to the building they live in, but now they are also the access to select academic buildings. All Cards are used in nearly every
building on campus, from residence life to dining services.
All Cards are required for entrance to the O’Connor Sports
Center, in the student bookstore for purchasing items using
X-Cash and entering the Hoff Dining Commons to swipe in for each meal. Late last spring, a card scanner was installed in the entrance to the Gallagher Student Center (GSC). GSC is open 24 hours, but anyone who wishes to enter the building after 11 p.m. has to swipe his or her All Card. Alter Hall also now has All Card access for after classroom hours. The All Card can also be used as a full service U.S. Bank ATM card and pin based card. The All Card can also earn students discounts at certain restaurants and retail outlets in the Cincinnati area.
